Their style has been described as primarily resembling those of The Who, The Beatles, and The Byrds, and also having aspects of Nazz and Todd Rundgren.
The title of the song comes from the comedian Lord Buckley monologue, 'Here Comes Da Nazz' which was popular with the group.
Disillusioned by these events, Rundgren departed the group shortly after Nazz Nazz was released, and much of the leftover material was used on the posthumous Nazz III album that was released after he launched his solo career.
Some artists signed to Spectra Heritage label are Spanky and Our Gang, The Rip Chords, The Shirts, Tuff Darts, Nazz, The Shadows of Knight.
