Senior Railcard

This applied from any Network SouthEast station either within or outside the Travelcard zonal area, and for Capitalcards valid for any combination of zones.

Off-peak "Go anywhere" flat-fare tickets in the "London & South East" area (the predecessor of Network SouthEast) in November 1983; four accompanying children travelled for £1.00, as could one dog.


Polegate railway station

The current building is the third station to be built in Polegate on the site of the original station and was completed in 1986 by Network Southeast, and officially opened by Ian Gow in 1987.

Stansted Mountfitchet railway station

The station features a ticket office, passenger information screens and the 'flip clock' from the Network Southeast period on the London bound platform, which is still in working order.
