The name of the band is a double homage: to the book Canto dos Malditos, by Austregésilo Carrano Bueno (which inspired the film Bicho de Sete Cabeças); and to Neverland (Portuguese: A Terra do Nunca) of Peter Pan (by Scottish author J. M. Barrie), an imaginary world where reality and fantasy combine.
The name 'Molen' can be seen painted on the front of a large black cauldron in the movie Hook as the camera pans across the pirate docks in Neverland.
Animals (referred to as "beasts") live throughout Neverland, such as Bears, Tigers, Lions, Wolves, Flamingoes and Crocodiles.
The title track is written by Ryan Jeon, who also wrote their hit song "Neverland".
