After it was established by Yadunandan Sharma, at the instruction of Swami Sahajanand Saraswati in 1933, it saw a large number of freedom fighters visiting.
Most of his life was spent in the Neyamatpur village in an ashram from where he kept revolting against the British Rule and Zamindari.
