Banggai Island is the second largest of the Banggai Islands, an archipelago located at the far eastern end of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.
It has been recorded primarily from the eastern portion of Central Sulawesi province (including large parts of the East Peninsula), but more northerly populations from the Minahassa Peninsula are also known.
