The remaining songs on the album were written by Dando and Tom Morgan, except for the album's hit single "Into Your Arms", which was written by Robyn St Clare and originally appeared on the Love Positions' Billiepeebup album (a collaboration between Dalton and St Clare released in 1990).

In 1998, Dalton left Sydney and moved to a farm on the outskirts of the village of Morongla (near Cowra in central west New South Wales) with his girlfriend, writer Lucy Lehmann.
Born in Canberra, ACT in 1963, Stevie played in bands from his late teens, most notably forming The Plunderers with Nic Dalton, as well as playing with other acts such as The Shouties, No Concept and Hippy Dribble.

Miles and Merrilees left the band in late 1985 and Robertson and Higgie who worked at ABC TV Canberra, continued the band with Hayes, a member of a well-known Canberran musical family (including Bernie Hayes and Anthony Hayes aka Stevie Plunder) and Peter Velzen, who was playing at the time with the Plunderers alongside Nic Dalton and Plunder.
In the live arena, D-Napoleon has shared billings with the likes of Morphine, Ken Stringfellow, Jack Frost (featuring Steve Kilbey and Grant McLennan), The Stems, John Butler, Ash Grunwald, Dan Kelly, Whitley, Nic Dalton, Todd Snider, John Doe, Mark Olson, Victoria Williams and Vic Chesnutt.
