Michael Frayn's 1977 play Donkeys' Years is a classic bedroom farce; Frayn parodied the genre in his 1982 play Noises Off via its play-within-the-play, "Nothing On." Alan Ayckbourn's play, entitled Bedroom Farce, looks at the lives of three couples seen in their own bedrooms, the stage being split into three sets for this purpose.
Samet has acted in more than 20 plays including: La Dame de chez Maxim (as Faik), Storm (as Trinculo – Stephano), Noises Off (as Loyd), Poor Women (as Apo), Leonce and Lena (as King Peter), Romeo & Juliet (as Capulet (member of all family)), Waiting for Godot (as Pozzo) and others.
Early on she took on roles such as "Maria" in West Side Story, "Hodel" in Fiddler on the Roof and "Jemima" in Cats, but also straight acting roles such as "Poppy" in Noises Off.
Bridget Walters is an Australian actress and veteran member of the State Theatre Company of South Australia where she has performed in productions of Macbeth, Noises Off, Uncle Vanya and The Cripple of Inishmaan.
Her many significant roles at the National include Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady by Lerner and Loewe and Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, also contributing to several stage productions of comedy and farce, such Ray Cooney’s Two for One and in Michael Frayn's Noises Off as the misfortunate actress Dotty Otley.
