Established in 2001, Roma currently plays in the North Texas Premier Soccer Association, a United States Adult Soccer Association-affiliated league, that represents the fifth tier of the American soccer pyramid.
The league gained some fame once one of their clubs Dallas Roma F.C. reached the fourth round of the 2006 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
