Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against Nyko for their wireless nunchuk controller for the Wii, claiming the Nyko Kama Nunchuk "wholly appropriates the novel shape, design, overall appearance and even the color and materials used in the Nintendo Nunchuk controller.

The Nyko "Wand" is a 3rd-party replacement for the Wii Remote.

Unlike the original Nunchuk, the Kama uses 2 AAA batteries and an adapter dongle that plugs into the back of the Wii Remote.
The Nyko Frontman is a guitar controller produced by Nyko for several game systems to be used with the video games Guitar Hero and Rock Band.
It was not until a few years after the Wii was released that third party companies such as Nyko and Mad Catz began making cheaper alternatives to the Wii Remote, sometimes in a variety of colors.

At the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show, Nyko revealed a similar guitar controller for the Wii, a replica of a butterscotch blonde Fender Telecaster.
