It has a training branch nearby as a lodger unit of RAF Cranwell and other branches elsewhere, including at High Wycombe, Brize Norton, Boscombe Down, and Odiham.

Henry Lafont

He moved to No. 1 School of Army Co-operation at Old Sarum on 29 July and then went to Odiham on 10 August where he flew 15 hours on Tiger Moths and Hectors.He was posted to 6 OTU, Sutton Bridge on the 19 August, converting to Hurricanes and joined No. 245 Squadron at Aldergrove on 11 September.

Henry Sherburne

After Henry's great grandfather quit Stonyhurst for Oxford, England, where he dwelled in Beam Hall, Henry's father Joseph moved to Odiham, where Henry was born.

John Leventhorpe

He was granted the manor of Ugley in Essex, and in 1399 he became constable of Odiham castle and keeper of the royal manor there.

No. 63 Squadron RAF

On 15 June 1942 No. 63 Squadron was reformed from part of No. 239 Squadron at Gatwick, Sussex, and commenced flying from Odiham with Alison engined Mustangs in January 1943.
