Cochran Farm

The web site of the Ohio Historic Preservation Office of the Ohio Historical Society says "William and Rebecca Cochran came from Adams County, Pennsylvania in 1814. They settled in Hamilton County where they lived until 1825. They then moved to Butler County near Millville. William Cochran owned much property in the area and in 1821 purchased the Millville Mill which had been built by Joel Williams in 1805".

Frank B. Willis

Willis's official papers were donated to and are open for research at the Ohio Historical Society.

Intercollegiate Prohibition Association

It ceased operations in 1976, and turned its archives over to the Ohio Historical Society.

Salem Township, Highland County, Ohio

However, Dr Raymond Baby, curator of archaeology for the Ohio Historical Society, visited the mounds in 1973 and stated that they were in a perfect state of preservation and confirmed their Native American origins.


8th Ohio Infantry

Its national battle flag is in the collection of the Ohio Historical Society in Columbus, and some artifacts and records in the Western Reserve Historical Society.
