3 unusual facts about Orchestral Favorites

DiscReet Records

DiscReet was shut down in 1979 following the decision by Warner Bros. to release three albums for which Zappa claimed Warner did not have proper authorization, Studio Tan, Sleep Dirt, and Orchestral Favorites.

Orchestral Favorites

In 2012, under a new distribution agreement between Gail Zappa (Frank's widow) and Universal Music Group, the CD was reissued yet again under the Zappa Records imprint.

He then attempted to get a distribution deal with Phonogram to release Läther on the new Zappa Records label.
