Hull and Devine met again when they were co-headlining a tour in the US in November–December 2008, in support of Devine's EP I Could Be with Anyone which featured songs from his then-upcoming fifth studio album Brother's Blood.

The I Could Be with Anyone E.P. features 2 b-sides, "The Weather Is Wonderful" and "What's Keeping Us Young", along with a demo for "She Stayed As Steam".
The album was recorded and co-produced by Alexisonfire and Jon Drew, the latter of which has also recorded albums for the Canadian bands Fucked Up and Tokyo Police Club.
