On March 20, 2012 Bishop William Lori of Bridgeport, Connecticut became 16th Archbishop of Baltimore succeeding Cardinal Edwin F. O'Brien, who was named Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem by Pope Benedict XVI.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Murphy grew up in Leavenworth, Kansas, where his father, Arthur Morton Murphy, a Knight of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, was president of Saint Mary College (now the University of Saint Mary (Kansas).
He is a well-known and active member in the catholic environments, and on 2008 was ordained as a Knight of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem by the catholic bishop Anders Arborelius.

Duncan McNair, KHS (born 2 November 1955) is a commercial and corporate litigation lawyer and author, the youngest of seven children of Squadron Leader Robin McNair and his wife, Estelle (née Townsend), who was a great-niece of Sir Edmond Townsend.
After spending his youth in study, he entered, in his twenty-fourth year, the friary of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis, founded in Picpus-—now part of Paris—-by his uncle, Jérôme Hélyot, a canon regular of the Order of the Holy Sepulcher.
