The Spirit of Raoul Wallenberg Award consists of a cash prize and a specially designed bowl from Orrefors, Sweden which is presented to the award recipient at the award ceremony.
It is located next to the world renowned Orrefors Glassworks in the village with the same name, at the center of what is known as the Kingdom of Crystal in Småland in Southern Sweden.
She was born in Porsgrunn, and was educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, in Copenhagen and Orrefors.
