He offered the name "Bangistan" for a Muslim homeland in the Bengal, and "Osmanistan" for a Muslim homeland in the Deccan.
Later, on 8 March 1940, he proposed a new scheme for the establishment of Pakistan, Bangalistan (East Bengal) and Osmanistan.
