, (Ostbevern, January 10, 1828 - Honolulu, February 22, 1892), served as the second vicar apostolic of the Vicariate Apostolic of the Sandwich Islands — now the Roman Catholic Diocese of Honolulu — from 1881 to 1892.
Joseph Annegarn (b. 13 October 1794, at Ostbevern in Westphalia; d. 8 July 1843, at the Lyceum Hosianum, Braunsberg, East Prussia, where he was professor of church history) was a German Catholic theologian and popular writer.
Kernmünsterland includes the city of Münster (less the northeast part) to the north, the district of Coesfeld (less the extreme west with Coesfeld and Billerbeck) to the west, the district of Warendorf (less the north with Sassenberg, Warendorf-Nord, Telgte and Ostbevern) to the east the centre of the historic Münsterland.
Until the 1970s Westbevern was an independently administered village which consisted of Vadrup and Brock (Brock was incorporated into Ostbevern in a communal reform).
The procession reaches Ostbevern approximately at 1 pm and after a lunch break they set out for the last part of the walk.
