He translated for this body Osterwald's Arguments of the Book and Chapters of the Old and New Testament, 3 vols.
Osterwald, together with the cathedral organist Engel in Merseburg, prepared an edition of the Geistlichen Lieder of Johann Frank, providing new texts.
