In 2012, in conjunction with Make Music Pasadena, Crown City Studios launched "Crown City Sessions", an ongoing live in-studio video series, which has featured, among others, The New Limb, Ozma, Robotanists, Torches, The Happy Hollows, The Lonely Wild, Mojo Stone, and The Well Pennies.

Upon being reunited with her old friends, Dorothy is introduced to Tik-Tok and Hungry Tiger and Ozma explains that they are on their way to rescue the Queen of Ev and her ten children from the evil Nome King and his Magic Belt.
Lilavois’ self produced debut solo record “The Only Way” was released digitally worldwide on January 11, 2011 and features a long list of seasoned musicians, including Matt North (Viktor Krauss), Amy Farris on Violin/Viola/Cello (Dave Alvin), Joel Martin, Danny T. Levin (Julian Casablancas, Lenka, Rilo Kiley, Built To Spill) David Moyer (Mayer Hawthorne), Matt Herman on Bass, Ryen Slegr(Ozma), Jeff Glassberg, and Ian Souter (The Ventriloquists).
Elements from Ozma of Oz and the previous novel, The Marvelous Land of Oz, were incorporated into the 1985 film Return to Oz, featuring Fairuza Balk as Dorothy.

Inspired by L. Frank Baum's Oz books, the film was to have starred some of the Mouseketeers, including Darlene Gillespie as Dorothy and Annette Funicello as Ozma, as well as Bobby Burgess as the Scarecrow, Tommy Kirk as the villainous son of the Wicked Witch of the West, and Kevin Corcoran.
