Community College of Allegheny County

In Pittsburgh's Central Northside neighborhood and surrounded by Heinz Field, PNC Park, the Carnegie Science Center, and other notable landmarks, CCAC’s Allegheny Campus is the largest and only urban campus of the college.

David Lengel

Recently, he has returned to five for the live 2006 All Star Game coverage from PNC Park, the regular On The Beat feature (which he himself devised) and twice for MLB on Five as a guest pundit.

Westinghouse Sign

The sign was demolished when the Wesco Building was razed in the autumn of 1998 to make way for PNC Park, which succeeded Three Rivers as the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Nate McLouth

In a July 28 game against the Colorado Rockies, McLouth hit a home run that soared over the right field grandstand of PNC Park and landed in the Allegheny River (443 ft from homeplate).

Upon ALCOA's 2001 relocation to a new headquarters building on Pittsburgh's North Shore near PNC Park, the old ALCOA building became a home to government entities, regional nonprofits and small start-up companies including the RIDC.
