Jacinta Parejo de Crespo, (better known as Misia Jacinta) (Parapara, Guárico, August 16, 1845 - Caracas, April 16, 1914) was the wife of Venezuelan president and military leader Joaquín Crespo.
It flows generally north from its watershed in the Kahurangi National Park, reaching Golden Bay at the small settlement of Parapara, 5 kilometres south of Collingwood.
Several CD compilations are available, as well as ParaPara lesson DVDs, which are the first commercially released DVDs since the Para Para Paradise series.
