Born in 1971 in Marseilles, a French national, Olivier Père graduated with a degree in Humanities at the University of Sorbonne (Paris IV).
Aymeric Chauprade co-organized with Jacques Frémeaux and Philippe Evanno in February 2013 a conference at the Sorbonne (University of Paris IV), entitled Menaces en Afrique du Nord et au Sahel et sécurité globale de l'Europe (Threats in North Africa and in the Sahel and overall security of Europe), the proceedings of which were published in April 2013 Ellipses Editions.
Trained in France at the Université de Bordeaux when the Annales School was at its height, since 1989 he has taught at Dalhousie University with teaching stints at the University of California Berkeley, Université de Paris IV-Sorbonne and the Université Laval (Québec).
Following his appointment to a chair in Seventeenth Century Studies at the University of Paris-IV, La Sorbonne (1980), he was elected to a Chair in Rhetoric and Society in Europe (16th and 17th century) at the Collège de France.
She has been visiting professor at the University of Graz (Austria), as well as lecturer at the Universities of Paris IV (Sorbonne - France), Mainz (Germany), Gießen (Germany), Kassel (Germany), Bamberg, and the J.W. Goethe-University in Frankfurt (Germany).
