He started his own consulting firm after leaving the Metropolitan and worked on new galleries, exhibitions and renovations at the Gibbes Museum, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Driehaus Museum, and several exhibits for the Winter Antique Show at the Park Avenue Armory.
In 2012 a new commission by Impichchaachaaha' Tate for the string quartet ETHEL will be premiered at the Park Avenue Armory.
The Armory's first three years of artistic programming presented work in partnership with other cultural institutions such as Lincoln Center and the Whitney Museum of American Art before launching its first solo exhibitions with Ernesto Neto's anthropodino in 2009 and Christian Boltanski’s No Man's Land in 2010.
In May – June 2011 a presentation of three of the artist's immersive audio/visual projects, The Transfinite, was exhibited at the Park Avenue Armory.
