It was released few days before her countdown concert Countdown Live 2011-2012: Hotel Love Songs, where she performs the song for the first time with other two songs "Party Queen" and "How Beautiful You Are" from her thirteen album Party Queen.
Only 2 songs had commercial endorsements prior to the album release: "Party Queen" was used as commercial song for Peach John and "How Beautiful You Are" was the theme song for drama show "Saigokara Nibanme no Koi".

It is Hamasaki's first studio album not to feature any physical single though "How Beautiful You Are" was released as a digital single.
