In April 2010 at the Penn Relays Koons won the women's Olympic Development event at 5,000 meters and qualified for U.S. Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Hood ran collegiately for the college track powerhouse Arkansas Razorbacks where he was named most outstanding performer among college men at the 1994 Penn Relays.
Gallagher is now a member of the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association Hall of Fame and the Penn Relays Hall of Fame.
He was also a track runner and was invited to the Penn Relays 3 years in a row the 400 relay team Lexington was on broke the school record twice.
He was named most outstanding performer among college men at the 1992 Penn Relays.
The second broke the world record for the 4x200 metres with a time of 1:21.4 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 30 at the Penn Relays.
