Peter the Byzantine

Peter the Byzantine, or Petros Byzantios (Greeks: Πέτρος Βυζάντιος), or "the Fugitive", (fl. 1770 - 1808) was a pupil of Peter the Peloponnesian.

First, in composition fields completed both known books of Peter the Peloponnesian, the Anastasimatarion, composing the missing Kekragaria with the incidental Stichologia, and the Heirmologion of Katavasies, adding Heirmoses standards for several holidays.

He has copied between the other, mostly in multiple copies, apart from his own works and all works of Peter the Peloponnesian, as well as numerous Anthologies of Priests' New Art (Greeks: Νέα Παπαδική).
