He formed the group Phuture with his friends Spanky (Earl Smith Jr. –founder/technical producer) and Herb J (Herbert R Jackson Jr. - keyboards).
Artists signed to Halocyan include DJ Pierre of Chicago-based acid house group Phuture, Spanish soul-techno and hi-tech funk artist Dosem, and pioneering drum & bass/ hard house DJ Joey Beltram.
The track was named "Acid Tracks", and the band was called Phuture.
