3 unusual facts about Piebald

Jejune

Over the span of their existence, the band undertook several tours of the US, including stints with The Get Up Kids, Blacktop Cadence, Braid, Piebald, and a late 1998 tour with Jimmy Eat World.

Kid Kilowatt

They did play live during this period, however, performing with bands including Piebald, Jejune, and Regulator Watts.

Kid Kilowatt was a rock supergroup formed in 1996 and dissolved in 1997, including members of Cave In, Converge and Piebald.

Cave In

They would soon release a demo and a handful of split 7" releases with bands such as Gambit, Piebald and Early Grace, and see Matthes briefly replaced by Andy Kyte. 1997 saw Cave In's first release; a self-titled 7" on Aaron Turner's Hydra Head Records.

Old Danish Pointer

The origin of the breed can be traced back to about the year 1710 when a man named Morten Bak, living in Glenstrup near the towns of Randers and Hobro, crossed gypsy dogs through 8 generations with local farmdogs and in this way established a pure breed of piebald white and brown dogs called Bakhounds or Old Danish Pointers.

When Life Hands You Lemons

When Life Hands You Lemons is the debut full-length album by American alternative rock group Piebald, released on Boston, Massachusetts-based independent label Hydra Head Records in 1997 (see 1997 in music).
