Battle of the Year

Several documentaries have been produced based on the competition, including the 2007 feature-length documentary Planet B-Boy.

Force Theory

Their later work included composition and sound design on director Marjan Tehrani's Arusi: Persian Wedding (PBS, 2009) and a complete sound design for Benson Lee's Planet B-Boy, which aired on MTV in January 2009.

Planet B

While there Lioba turns into a Gorgon and the only way for them to escape is for Kip to turn Lioba into stone.

All the while, John and Medley are being watched by an dog-like antivirus programme called Cerberus (Chris Pavlo) who, along with the Planet B Corporation, considers the rogues to be a computer virus that need to be wiped out.

Kip is currently in a site which simulates the Black Forest where he encounters a voice, which turns out to be Medley, who was able to come back from the dead because when rogues die their code becomes part of Planet B. Kip and Medley travel between worlds in an attempt to find a code which allow them access to the "reset button" which will restore Planet B to its original state.

Planet B-Boy

The film also includes interviews with German B-Boy and promoter Thomas Hergenröther (who founded the Battle of the Year competition) and legendary B-Boy Ken Swift of the Rock Steady Crew.

Benson Lee

In 2011, Lee directed the 3D Hollywood adaptation of Planet B-Boy titled Battle of the Year for Sony Pictures / Screen Gems, which stars Josh Holloway, Laz Alonso, and Chris Brown.
