Aleksander Kotsis - born 1836 in Ludwinów (now one of parts of Kraków), died 1877 in Podgórze (also a part of Kraków now)- was a Polish painter renowned for his landscapes, portraits and genre depictions of contemporary rustic scenes.
Initially a small settlement, in the years following the First Partition of Poland the town's development was promoted by the Austria-Hungary Emperor Joseph II who in 1784 granted it the city status, as the Royal Free City of Podgórze.

They went on to the promotion round playoffs against the winners of the Kraków league (Podgorze Kraków) and Kielce league (Warta Zawiercie).
