After his retirement in 2007 he became president of the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics and a faculty member at POSTECH in Pohang (Korea).
PBC was established in November 2000 in collaboration with POSCO under the mission to grow into a world class biotech center that carries out cutting edge research and trains future leaders in biotechnology.
