Çamlıbel, Pozantı, a village in Pozantı district of Adana Province, Turkey
Pozantı has successively passed though the hands of Hittites, Persians, Alexander the Great, Rome and Byzantium.
On October 26, 1915, Geddes left Aleppo and headed for Smyrna and passed through Bozanti.
The headquarters of the battalion was in the village of (now a district center) Pozantı and a small hospital in the nearby village of Belemedik was established under the supervision of Mesnil’s wife.
The motorway starts from the west terminus of Adana Beltway O-50, runs westward reaching the south terminus of Pozantı-Adana Motorway O-21 northeast of Tarsus, continues southwest to Mersin bypassing it at north and terminates in Erdemli.
