Tokyo Press Conference - On April 19, the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan (FCCJ) organized a press conference inviting international press for the first time after the women's rights civil lawsuit was filed against Prada at Tokyo District Court.

Countersuit - On July 2, as a result of this media exposure, Prada countersued Bovrisse, demanding she pay nearly $800,000 for falsely claiming to the media that Prada had engaged in sexual harassment.

Prada Japan's CEO and H.R. Manager sent her home, accused her of unexcused absence and firing was her imagination.

Judgement: Judge Morioka stated that the demonstrated level of discrimination was acceptable for Prada and did not warrant compensation for emotional distress.

Secret Tape Attempts - Prada Group secret taped Bovrisse's meeting with the UN officers and female NGO.

In 2009, Bovrisse's assistant reported she got sexually harassed by Prada Milan employee relocated to Tokyo and tried to get into her room at the hotel on a business trip.

Prada Group used tactics of low human rights jurisdiction of women’s rights in Japan instead of taking a responsible action as multinational corporation.

H.R. Manager told her lawyer, “Oh yes, we did talk about resignation. She was the one who said that she feels really bad that she created all this trouble at work, so she wanted to resign” The lawyer told him that “the last conversation she had, she had recorded and printed it on paper, and there is no conversation of resignation.” Prada's H.R. person hung up the phone.

Prada Group admitted to sexual harassment in the court testimonies of CASE 1 and 2 but continued countersuing Bovrisse for "Voicing against sexual harassment damaged Prada's brand image".

On Sept. 29, 2009, the Prada Japan H.R. manager came to Bovrisse's office at 7 p.m. and said, “Can I talk to you for a second?”

A few days later after she submitted the evidences, she was called in the office by the Prada Japan CEO and fired for "Bringing negative energy to the company by voicing sexual harassment".

Filed: December 10, 2009 – Bovrisse filed a labor dispute against Prada on sexual harassment and discrimination against women violating women's rights at workplace.

Prada Group demanded Bovrisse to pay claiming that she controlled the global media and influenced the worldwide journalists to damage Prada's image.

Prada Japan CEO Davide Sesia toured some of Japan’s 40 shops alongside newly hired Bovrisse.
