Notable sideman projects include recordings with Victor Wooten, Jeff Babko and Vinnie Colaiuta, Prasanna, JD Souther, Boyd Tinsley, Everyone Orchestra, and Jonathan Scales, as well as hundreds of commercial studio sessions.
He has directed plays for National School of Drama (Repertory Company, NSD), Ninasam, Rangamandal-Bhopal, Rangayana and worked with many theatre organizations of India.

He was first noticed when he acted as the friend of Prasanna in Azhagiya Theeye.
Prasanna never played ODIs, and Chandrasekhar played just one game, against New Zealand in 1976.

Prasanna Kumar Tagore (also spelt Prosunno Kumar Tagore, Prasanna Kumar Tagore) (1801–1886) was son of Gopi Mohan Tagore, one of the founders of Hindu College.
