2007 has also seen Mashimo start an interpromotional rivalry with BJW heavyweight Daisuke Sekimoto, the two fighting on nearly every Indy Summit show, culmulating in a BJW Tag Team title match with Mashimo teaming with DDT star HARASHIMA in a 30 minute draw against champions Sekimoto and Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX's Yoshihito Sasaki.
