In June 2012, it was announced that Thore Schölermann will host the second season of ProSiebenSat.1's casting-show The Voice of Germany.
He is also vice-chairman of the supervisory board of SBS Broadcasting Group, taken over by KKR and Permira in August 2005, into which in 2007 was merged the German satellite broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1
Key partners for such marketing activities are German TV channels such as ProsiebenSat.1, RTL and RTL2, as well as French M6.
Many corporations have located their business outside of Munich and thus within NordAllianz, including the German or European Headquarters of companies such as Microsoft, the EADS, General Electric, Swiss Re, ProSiebenSat.1
The channel went on the air in February 2005 and is available via the satellite provider Dish Network and select cable companies.
