These achievements led to him being put up for voting by the Przegląd Sportowy newspaper for the Polish Sportspersonality of the Year where he finished second, right behind track and field runner Janusz Kusociński.
He was also selected to the Ekstraklasa team of the season by both Canal+ Sport as well as Przegląd Sportowy.
In 1930, she was chosen the most popular Polish athlete by readers of the Przegląd Sportowy (Sports Review) daily.
Rotholc took 10th and 6th places, respectively in 1934 and 1935, in the Polish Sportspersonality of the Year, chosen by the readers of the newspaper Przegląd Sportowy.
