Patrice Lefebvre

Despite putting up impressive numbers with the Shawinigan Cataractes in the QMJHL he was never drafted by an NHL-team, possibly due to his small stature (Lefebvre is listed as 5 ft 6 in (1,68 m) and 160 lb (73 kg)).

Sean Couturier

In 2009–10 Couturier stepped forward to lead the QMJHL in points; he had the lowest point totals required to win the Jean Béliveau Trophy as leading scorer in QMJHL history.

His 2010-11 campaign resulted in him being named to the QMHJL First All-Star team, as well as winning the Michel Brière Memorial Trophy, as the league MVP, and the Mike Bossy Trophy, awarded to the best professional prospect in the QMJHL.

Steve Brûlé

He was drafted from St. Jean Lynx of the QMJHL where he was a prolific scorer as a junior winning the Michel Bergeron Trophy in 1992–93.
