In the 2011–12 season of the Qatar Stars League, he came on as a substitute for Daniel Goumou in the 86th minute and scored a two-minute brace against Qatar SC in stoppage time.
After 1986 Asian Games, he boycotted playing for Iran national football team and left for Qatar where he joined Qatar SC for which he played for 4 years followed by one season in Al-Sadd Doha.
