In the sixth and last round, Boudia won gold with a total score of 568.65, finishing ahead of world champion Qiu Bo (566.85) and hometown favourite Tom Daley (556.95).
At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he received the silver medal in the 10-meter platform competition, placing second behind American diver David Boudia.
