Émile Jourdan (30 July 1860, Vannes – 29 December 1931, Quimperlé) was a French painter who became one of the artists who gathered in the village of Pont-Aven in Brittany.
was a Welsh prince who, according to the Vita sancta Gurthierni, became a hermit in Brittany, and founder of an abbey at Kemperle (Quimperlé).
Mackenzie was born on 13 May 1842, at the Chateau de Talhouet, near Quimperlé, in Morbihan, Brittany.
His best paintings were made in small towns such as Montreuil-sur-Mer (1892–94), Dieppe and surrounding villages from (1894–98), Quimperle in Brittany in (1901) and Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne in the Corrèze département (1903).
