August Friedrich Wilhelm Crome (Sengwarden, 8 June 1753 – 11 June 1833, Rödelheim) was a German economist and statistician, known particularly for his Producten-Karte von Europa (1782), one of the first uses of cartograms.
When his father inheritance was divided in 1607, he received the districts of Rödelheim, Pletenheim and Assenheim.
There are a number of celebrities who have established their base in Rödelheim, including Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt, Mathias Barbosa and Sabrina Setlur.
The Rödelheim Hartreim Project ("Rödelheim Hard-Rhyme Project"), for short RHP, was a mid-1990s German rap group from Rödelheim, a part of Frankfurt.
After graduation, Spiess became private tutor in the family of the Hessian Count Solms-Rödelheim, at Assenheim.
