B. A. Rolfe

Rolfe's company produced more than fifty silent films, several of which were collaborations with director/screenwriter Oscar A.C. Lund including the 1916 drama Dorian's Divorce starring Lionel Barrymore.

Lancelot Shadwell

During this period he twice filled the office of a commissioner of the great seal: from 23 April 1835 to 16 Jan. 1836 in conjunction with Charles Pepys, 1st Earl of Cottenham, and Sir John Bosanquet, and again from 19 June to 15 July 1850, in conjunction with Henry Bickersteth, 1st Baron Langdale and Sir R. M. Rolfe.

Oscar A. C. Lund

He frequently worked with director and screenwriter B. A. Rolfe, and with the British actress Barbara Tennant, directing her in more than half a dozen films.

Viola Dana

Dana's success in Collins's Edison features such as Children of Eve (1915) and The Cossack Whip (1916) encouraged producer B. A. Rolfe to offer the couple lucrative contracts with his company, Rolfe Photoplays, which released through Metro Pictures Corporation.
