Beginning in the early 1990s Bell Gothic became popular and associated with avant garde experimentation with type at places like the Cranbrook Academy of Art, the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and RISD.
Since she had been costuming, she attended her casting session with one piece produced during her time at RISD nearly 20 years prior in addition to other pieces made the week before presenting before judges Tim Gunn, Nick Verreos, and Zoe Glassner from Marie Claire magazine.
She taught at NSCAD in Halifax, Nova Scotia (1974–1978), SUNY Purchase (1983–1985), Sarah Lawrence College (1991–1994), RISD (1999–2000), and was a resident artist at Skowhegan School in 1995.
He currently lives and works in New York and is married to fellow RISD alumnus Janine Antoni.
Randolph teaches and lectures as a visiting artist and has recently appeared in that capacity at the UCRIA conference, Open Engagement, Maryland Institute College of Art, the GEL conference, Massachusetts College of Art, Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, and RISD.
Thayer Street in Providence, Rhode Island is a popular destination for students of the area's nearby schools of Brown University, Moses Brown School, Wheeler School, RISD, Providence College, Johnson & Wales University, and Rhode Island College.
While students at The College have long been able to cross register for classes at nearby Rhode Island School of Design, it is now possible to complete an A.B. from Brown and a B.F.A. degree from RISD concurrently over a five-year period.
The street is surrounded by universities on the East Side of Providence's College Hill, including Brown University, RISD, Moses Brown School, & The Wheeler School.
