Bill Slayback

In 1973, Slayback recorded a 45-rpm record written by Ernie Harwell called "Move Over Babe (Here Comes Henry)." The record captured Hank Aaron's journey in overtaking Babe Ruth for the all-time home run record.

Caldwell machine gun

The weapon was in appearance similar to the Maxim gun, but came with two barrels, capable of working in conjunction or separately with a discharge of 500 rpm.

Fahlin SF-2 Plymocoupe

The propeller was driven directly from the crankshaft via the gearbox using a 2:1 gear-reduction ratio which enabled the engine to operate at full power while accommodating the operational requirements of the propeller which necessitated the slower maximum rotational speed of 1800 rpm.

She recorded with Sting and Andy Summers of The Police on her Pye Records 45 RPM "Hulk" (the B side is "Dancing Man"; the musicians from the Police possibly only appearing on the A side), and with Ray Fenwick of the group Fancy in a band called Jo Jo Laine & The Firm on Mercury Records.

John R. Reilly

A turntable with a 78-rpm recording of Mahalia Jackson's He's Got the Whole World in His Hands was on standby, having been selected in advance by Reilly.

Lightnin' Strikes

It was a hit in 1966, making it first to No. 1 in Canada in January 1966 on the RPM Top Singles chart, then to No. 1 in the U.S. on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in February and No. 11 on the UK Record Retailer chart.

While playing and touring with Oh-OK, Sweet and former drummer Pierce formed the short-lived pop-duo The Buzz of Delight producing a 45 rpm single "Christmas" and an EP "Sound Castles" on DB Recs.

Australian actor Eka Darville, who previously starred in series three of Blue Water High, was reported to have a role in September 2008 in what was then unknown as RPM or Racing Performance Machines which began production in September 2008 in New Zealand.

An article of The New Zealand Herald reported that Power Rangers RPM was to be the final season of the Power Rangers series.
