RTMC Astronomy Expo, a gathering of amateur astronomers, formally known as Riverside Telescope Makers Conference.
In 1973 it was moved to a dark-sky site near Idyllwild and in 1975 it was moved to its current home near Big Bear City.
Edberg is the Executive Director of one of the world's largest amateur astronomy events, RTMC Astronomy Expo, held each May in Big Bear, California.

The Clifford W. Holmes Award is presented annually near Big Bear City, California at the RTMC Astronomy Expo to an individual for a "Major Contribution to Popularizing Astronomy."
