In telecommunication, call-sign allocation plan is the table of allocation of international call sign series contained in the current edition of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Radio Regulations.
The Radio Regulations of the International Telecommunication Union allow amateur radio and amateur satellite operations in the frequency range 76.000 GHz to 81.000 GHz, which is known as the 4-millimeter band.
The drafting, revision and adoption of the Radio Regulations is the responsibility of the World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRCs) of the ITU, meetings of which are typically held every three or four years.
