Bhopal Agency was formed as an administrative section of Central India, consisting the Bhopal state and some princely states to the northeast, including Khilchipur, Narsingarh, Raigarh, and after 1931 the Dewas states.
He was a famous railway contractor & entrepreneur of Raigarh, founder of Shyam Talkies, who hailed from Mistri community of Kumbharia, Kutch.
Besides establishing in 1975 the Vanabasi Kalyan Ashram for Women in Raigarh to offer vocational training, she recognized the need of tribal girl students to have boarding and lodging facilities and so she started 1990 the Nivedita Vanabasi Kanya Chhatravas.
