The Château de Randan was a former royal domain in the French town on Randan in the department of Puy-de-Dôme.
He was in Newcastle on 10 June and with another French diplomat, de Randan, had a conference with Cecil, and Dr Nicolas Wotton.
Before its excision, the 6th constituency consisted of Aigueperse, Combronde, Ennezat, Manzat, Menat, Montaigut en Combraille, Pionsat, Pontaumur, Pontgibaud, Randan, Riom, Saint-Gervais-d'Auvergne.
