Sahajarao was the ancestor of Ranwa gotra who left Nagaur in vikram samvat 1111 (1044 AD) and founded village Saamikhera and constructed fort and Shiva temple there.
According to the historical records of Ranwa gotra Rao Mutia Kamas of Dahiya Kshatriyas clan came from Kannauj in samvat 905 and constructed a fort in Nagaur city in Rajasthan.

The descendants of Sahajarao were known as Ranwa, those of Rajdeo were known as Roja.
